Jim Sewell, President
Jim Sewell is President of Iron Lion Realty. Jim’s focus is on investment sales, business development, and equity and debt placement for multifamily properties. He brings over 20 years of multifamily brokerage experience to the firm, and has handled more than 130 transactions totaling almost $4 billion and 25,000 units. Prior to starting Iron Lion Realty, he was Vice President and co-head of the JLL Carolinas multifamily team for three years, covering North Carolina, South Carolina and coastal Georgia. Previously, he was President and Partner of Coastal Apartment Advisors (CAA) which he formed in 2004. Before forming CAA, Jim completed more than $350 million in multifamily transactions at one of the Southeast’s leading multifamily brokerage firms. He has extensive experience in multifamily site selection, development, and dispositions spanning the range of the multifamily industry. Jim holds a degree in economics from Emory University, and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
Erika Maston, Vice President
Erika Maston is Vice President of Iron Lion Realty and directs the company’s business development, property marketing, and daily operations. Prior to joining Iron Lion Realty, she was Vice President of Multifamily Investment Sales for JLL Carolinas, and started her multifamily brokerage career with Coastal Apartment Advisors in 2005. She also operated as a marketing consultant for five years helping retail, private residential, and publishing clients with successful marketing and rebranding campaigns. Erika’s diverse background and education has afforded her a unique and creative lens for property marketing, helping clients to achieve above market pricing. Erika received a B.A. in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill after three years. She currently resides in Savannah, GA, and enjoys cycling, hooping, and traveling.
